Profit in a low growth era

The global economy is at best stagnating and we face a lost decade of low growth. Nevertheless, there are still strong sectors and good companies that offer fantastic growth for private investors. Investors Chronicle writers be giving their ideas and top tips as to where high returns can be found in this low growth era.

The event will be split into a morning (9.00am – 1.00pm) and afternoon (2.00pm – 6.00pm) session consisting of identical content. You will hear presentations from some of today’s leading value investment professionals as well as exclusive investment ideas from Investors Chronicle journalists.

Sessions are broken up by a refreshment break with teas, coffee and biscuits as well as a question and answer slot, giving you the chance to put your questions to the speakers.

Dominic Picarda

Dominic Picarda is Associate Editor of the Investors Chronicle and writes the Trader column. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst qualification, and is also a Chartered Market Technician. His analysis has appeared in the weekend edition of the Financial Times and he is a regular presenter and speaker at trading and investment events.

Jonathan Eley

Jonathan has been editor of Investors Chronicle since 2009. Before that he was online editor, and prior to joining Investors Chronicle he covered UK companies at AFX News in London, general corporate and economic news for AFX Asia in Hong Kong, and base and precious metals markets for Metal Bulletin in London and New York. He is the co-author of European Equity Investor (Pearson Education, 2002). He has a degree in modern languages from Aston University.
